TRAVEL AT LAX- For our first time visitors to LA here are some tips on flying into LAX.
1. Uber/Lyft services after you land is only accessible by a free airport shuttle. Please go to the arrival area, find a pink pole that will say UBER/LYFT shuttle and wait in the area. The shuttles run about every 15 minutes.
Train To Long Beach
To travel by train from LAX to Long Beach, take the Metro Green Line (C Line) from Aviation/LAX Station to Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station, then transfer to the Metro Blue Line (A Line) towards Downtown Long Beach.
Other Airports
John Wayne- Santa Ana
Burbank/Hollywood
Long Beach Airport
Sometimes you will find cheaper flights flying into these airports and since they are MUCH smaller they are easy to navigate. However, be prepared for a layover as they very seldomly have direct flights!
WAYMO
So we have actually tried Waymo and we loved it! The car is actually safe and comfortable and makes great driving decisions! Honestly, it was likely safe than even uber!
For now Waymo is only available in Los Angeles not Long Beach
